Internal Sales - Rugged Systems
This is a key role providing internal technical sales and support to a wide range of customers with varying application requirements. This involves working as part of a small focused team developing new business by pro-actively targeting users and converting incoming enquiries into orders. Responsibilities of the role includes:
- Managing the full sales cycle from initial lead to the post-sales relationship.
- Directly contacting target customers to introduce our range of solutions.
- Review customer's enquiries, advise and quote the correct equipment and value-add services in a timely manner.
- Provide first level pre & post sales technical support to customers.
- Maintain accurate records including databases of contacts, sales prospects, pipeline and other key performance indicators.
- Meeting sales targets, forecasting and reporting to management.
Qualification & Experience Requirements
The position would be ideal for engineers educated to degree level, HNC/D with sales experience. Alternatively, candidates with substantial technical sales experience in the relative industries will be considered. For the systems role, background should be in a hardware environment, and would suit someone who is looking to utilise their technical skills in solving customer application requirements and increasing sales. A background in industrial and single-board computing would be highly relevant.
The ideal candidate should be bright, adaptable, highly motivated with excellent communication skills and a confident telephone manner.
