During March 3rd - 6th Ashley Shone, Emmet McCabe, Sebastian Leaver and Stuart Main from the Wordsworth Team experienced three exciting days at this year's Embedded World held for the 7th time in Nuremberg. Although very hard work the general consensus of opinion was that it was a great success.
Despite the currently difficult economic situation, embedded world delivered an outstanding performance and again confirmed its vital importance for the international embedded community. 704 exhibitors (+4 per cent) from all over the world presented the whole spectrum of embedded systems in Nuremberg: hardware, software, tools and services. The biggest embedded event also increased in space again and grew by over 5 per cent. The closing report said that embedded world 2009 Exhibition & Conference delivers and outstanding performance. Closing statistics reported 704 exhibitors meeting with 15,850 visitors from all over the world.
Ashley Shone, Embedded Project leader for Wordsworth stated that;
"This is our first time at the exhibition and our expectations are more than fulfilled. Many visitors approached us with specific technical questions, which resulted in a whole series of project ideas. This very intensive dialogue between exhibitors is unique on the German exhibition scene. We hope to be there again at next year's embedded world"
