Skyscraper DVR Surveillance System
Wordsworth's Industrial Networking Devices can be used to construct a DVR surveillance system for buildings on the scale of skyscrapers. The Gigabit backbone network, a Gigabit redundant ring is constituted by Wordsworth’s high performance industrial full Gigabit Ethernet switches, in order to communicate the central control room, video server and the other Ethernet switches in each level.
Depending on the distance from the level at issue to the central control room, it can be installed to connect to the IP cameras and link to the Gigabit backbone network or deployed to enable optic fiber connections to the cameras and the Gigabit backbone network.
Furthemore, in order to offer seamless and efficient communication capabilities, Wordsworth’s industrial wireless access point, it can be installed to connect to the sensors located in somewhere difficult to deploy a wired cable inside the skyscraper.
Wordsworth are able to provide a total solution, including industrial full Gigabit Ethernet switches, industrial Ethernet switch with optic fiber connections, and industrial wireless access point, in order to establish a cost effective and high performance IP surveillance system of a skyscraper successfully.
Key Products

Wordsworth's managed Redundant Ring Ethernet switch with 6x10/100Base-T(X) & 2x100Base-FX, 1000Base-T, 1000Base-SX or 1000Base-LX ports.
With complete support of Ethernet Redundancy protocol, Wordsworth's Redundant Ring Ethernet switch can protect your mission-critical applications from network interruptions or temporary malfunctions with its fast recovery technology. Another Wordsworth technology also supports other vendor's proprietary ring. This series can be managed centralized and convenient by a powerful windows utility — Open-Vision. In addition, the wide operating temperature range from -40°C to 70°C can satisfy most of operating environment. Therefore, the switch is one of the most reliable choices for highly-managed and Fiber Ethernet application.
8-port Managed Ethernet Switch (6 x 10/100TX, 2 x Multi Mode 1000FX)

Wordsworth's unmanaged Ethernet switches with 8x10/100Base-T(X) & 2x1000Base-X in SFP ports.
Wordsworth's unmanaged Ethernet switches support redundant power input, relay output alarm, and surge protection. The wide operating temperature range from -40°C to 70°C can satisfy most of operating environments.
8-port Managed Ethernet Switch (6 x 10/100TX, 2 x Multi Mode 1000FX)

Wordsworth's unmanaged Ethernet switches with Supports 5 x 10/100/1000Base-T(X) ports or 4 x 10/100/1000Base-T(X) + 1 x 1000Base-X SFP ports.
Wordsworth's unmanaged Ethernet switches support redundant power input, rigid IP-30 housing and have DIP switches for enabling or disabling relay output alarm. In addition, the wide operating temperature range from -40 to 70 °C can satisfy most of operating environment.
Industrial 5-port Unmanaged Ethernet Switch

Wordsworth's managed Redundant Ring Ethernet switches with 4x10/100/1000TX and 4x1000BaseX SFP ports.
Wordsworth's managed Redundant Ring Ethernet switches can protect your mission-critical applications from network interruptions or temporary malfunctions with its ultra fast recovery technology. They also support functions of network management, such as SNMP, RMON and Port/Tag-based VLAN security. Therefore, the Switch series are the best choice for highly-managed and Fiber Ethernet application.
The series can be configured smartly by web browser, Telnet, CLI, and windows utility. Network administrators can determine to send event notifications through Syslog, Email, SNMP trap, or relay output, as well as segment ports into different VLANs, or filter multicast traffic by IGMP Snooping.
To enhance the security, port access can be limited to pre-defined IP address table. Network determinism is answered by QoS for traffic prioritization. Wordsworth's managed Redundant Ring Ethernet switches support new DDM (Digital Diagnostic Monitoring) function, which can monitor instantly the status of electronic voltage, current and temperature. The redundant DC power inputs guarantee a non-stop operation. The backup power input will take over immediately when the primary DC power input fails. The series also provide relay outputs that can be set up to indicate events with urgency to notify or warn the technicians, so they can quickly respond to the message in priority.
Industrial 8-port Gigabit Managed Ethernet Switch

Wordsworth's 802.11a/b/g WLAN with 2 ports LAN Access Point.
It supports LLDP for topology discovery and STP for wireless/wired redundant connections. It also supports 802.1X and MAC fi lter for security control. It can be configured to operate in AP / Bridge / Repeater / AP-Client mode. You are able to configure it also by WEB interface via LAN port or WLAN interface. the WLAN provides dual Ethernet ports in switch mode, so that you can use Daisy Chain to reduce the usage of Ethernet switch ports. In addition, Wordsworth's WLAN also provides PD feature on ETH2 which is fully compliant with IEEE802.3af P.O.E. PD specifi cation. Therefore, it is one of the best communication solutions for wireless applications on the industrial network.
